This body of work is the result of training myself to better understand typography. At the time, typography was my weakest attribute. Coming from an illustration background, I just wasn't tuned in to the minutia of kerning, spacing, and line weights. So I sat down and made a series that was more play than work. Funnily enough, some people didn't even see the number in the word at first, which was something I certainly didn't expect.
