This is the piece that asked, “What kind of product is a famous brand missing?” I answered with a gourmet line of chocolates from Hershey's. This single box could be sold to both local and specialty stores, drawing in customers with its unique packaging. I wanted the customer delight in opening the package itself. First, the box is completely closed flush until you split two halves of the same package, and you can put them back together. The customer would then have even more boxes to open, each individually wrapped in its own completely unique design. There are no repeating flavors nor patterns, and the idea of "exclusivity" within a single package was used to elevate the gourmet aspect further.
