Sunday
This was part of a screen-print exchange. The theme was to take a story from the novel, “Einstein's Dreams,” a collection of fictional dreams a young Einstein has while working on the theory of relativity.
Each chapter is a separate story about time, and I was assigned a chapter titled, “Sunday.” My print depicts a world where anyone can be randomly thrown back in time, doomed to be a passenger in life, forbidden to even be seen by anyone, as that would alter the future.
My interpretation is a man neither here nor there, belonging to no one. The end result is a 10-color screen-print, pulled by hand, with surface embossment. Thanks to Matteo Puleze for inspiration.
